I am a strai...I loved reading this little article! I am a straight descendant from many royals, and people always make fun of me when I tell them that! Hahaha! But I seriously love it. I jokingly tell people that they should bow to me, but then I get a few dirty looks. They also say, "Everyone is descended from royalty," which is so not true. Actually...Well Charlemagne, but many Europeans are. Actually the royalty connection is the inverse, in the sense that I don't descend from today's royals but rather we share a common ancestor. My family were low on the peerage ladder. We were barons of the Holy Roman Empire until the title was stripped in 1831.
